Eric Vaudry

Articling Student

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Alberta.

I spent a semester of these studies abroad in Cortona, Italy. There I went on field trips throughout Italy and took courses in Art History, History, and Italian. On other occasions, I travelled through various countries in Central and Western Europe.

While studying for my Bachelor’s degree, I played for the University of Alberta Golden Bears Golf Team. After I was admitted to Law School, I continued to play competitive golf in events such as the 2018 Alberta Open and 2015 Alberta Amateur. The crowning achievement of my competitive golf career, however, was my three victories in the University of Alberta Law School Association’s El’ Hack’O golf tournament.

At law school, I took courses that canvassed topics related to Health Law. My favorite of these was Nigel Forster and Joseph Miller Q.C.’s course in medical malpractice law.

I started my articles at Weir Bowen in September 2020. I enjoy golfing and spending time with friends and family.
