WeirBowen Best Lawyers 2020

About Iman Jomha

I joined Weir Bowen as a summer student in 2013 and commenced my articles with the firm in July of 2015. I practice primarily in the area of medical malpractice and am fortunate to have the privilege to work with individuals and families who have been affected by medical negligence. I have a strong interest in legal research and written advocacy and have assisted in matters before the Alberta Court of King's Bench and Alberta Court of Appeal as well as with Leave to Appeal applications to the Supreme Court of Canada.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, reading, painting, and spending time with my friends and family. I am passionate about promoting health, physical literacy, and recreational opportunities for all, and was proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Paralympic Sports Association from 2019-2022.

I am currently a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta teaching Medical Malpractice Law alongside Joseph Miller, KC.
