About Sydney Hansen

Sydney is a Student-at-Law at Weir Bowen LLP gaining experience in a variety of legal areas including civil litigation, personal injury, and medical malpractice. She is motivated by the personal connections she builds as a plaintiff side lawyer and strives to use her expertise to guide client who are going through overwhelmingly difficult times.

Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), in Political Science from Brock University, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alberta. Part of Sydney’s legal training included an intensive mediation clinic equipping her with practical skills necessary to effectively advocate for clients during settlement negotiations. Her academic background and practical experience have equipped her with the skills to contribute effectively to each file she works on. Sydney is eager to expand her legal knowledge while working alongside the firm’s accomplished lawyers, and she looks forward to making a positive impact on the team’s success.

Outside of her legal work, Sydney enjoys traveling and can often be found going between Canada’s East and West coast attending festivals along the way.

INDIGENOUS LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
