CBC Radio: A group of lawyers across Canada want to better support sexual abuse survivors

Closing arguments in the Hockey Canada sexual assault trial are expected to begin Monday in a London, Ont., courtroom. The trial of five former world junior hockey players drew international attention. It also sparked questions about how victims are treated in and out of the courtroom. For more on best practices when dealing with sexual abuse cases we have Cynthia Carels with us, she is a partner at Weir Bowen here in Edmonton and the national vice president of the Sexual Abuse Lawyers Alliance (SALA).

INDIGENOUS LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
